Flower Offerings

A small Gratitude is given to the Lord at the stairs........ Flowers.

 From the very early time, flowers were being used as an offering to the Lord, even in the Hinduism
 " Puspanjali ",i.e." Act of Flowering to the Deity" was done from the ancient time.

It has various points which signify the why? they have been used so...

• Beautiful: - As we know that flowers are beautiful, hence they were used to offer a beautiful gratitude to the Lord.

•  Natural and pure: -  Flowers are natural and pure as well and to offer the deity only natural and pure offerings are used, so that deity gets impressed from it.

• Sweet Fragrance: -  Flower booms the arena from their fragrance, therefore they were used to spread the smell in the worship place.  

•  Devotion: - Offering flowers to God is also a sign of our devotion to God and one should do so with all his heart, this way we are giving a part of our soul to the Lord.
