Huge Mountains with eternal stories

City on the Mountain

Rajpur
Daytime view of Mussuriee from Rajpur

Also known as " Pahado ki Rani", is a beautiful destination, just above the Doon valley(i.e. 35 km from the main city), having lovely views of the down valley and the above higher mountains and the hills. The name given to the area is because of the shrub, named "Mansoor", founded over here, further called Mussuriee by the local people.

Even the 14th Dalai Lama, during Tibetan Rebellion, the Central Tibetan Administration was firstly founded in Mussuriee, before shifting to Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh in 1959 and the first Tibetan school was founded in Musurriee. Today around 5,000 Tibetan lived here.......

The place has its highest point known as "Lal Tibba"   giving a heavenly view to the viewers.
