Flowers
The earliest evidence we found on flowers is from Egyptian wall paintings, describing how the flowers were cut and put in vases for decoration purposes. They were also being used for burial practices by them. Lotus and lily were the oldest and treated as sacred by Egyptians even to Isis.
Also, their favourite ones were put in their tomb and garlands and even worn by them.

From ancient times, flowers has a powerful significance over nature. It can be correctly said that flowers are the only ones which gave colour to the life of creatures present on earth.

Whether is it in eastern or western culture, flowers signify and symbolized much meaning to various things over different procurement.
The study or practice of assigning different meanings to flowers or we can say the language of flowers is known as " Floriography ".
In the Japanese language, it is known as " Hanakotoba ". The present name is get coined during the Victorian Era.

Floriography get popularized firstly in France during 1810-1850 and books get written on it which further takes the subject to Britain (1820) and to the United States(1830) which moves on to Belgium, Germany and South America,

Even in Indian Literature, flowers have their own significance. In ancient Indian texts, many flowers were to be written and many of them get their names from persons but those names aren't used today. Some of the flowers are :- Kund (कुंद ), Padam(पदम ), Kumud(कुमुद ), Neelkamal(नीलकमल ).

In Uttarakhand, the famous "Valley of Flowers", National Park is widely acclaimed for the various flower species found in the area, also considered a biosphere known as " Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve" is a home of some endangered animal species like- Asiatic Black Bear, Snow leopard, Musk dear, Brown Bear and Red fox. The place is a heritage site and reserve since 2004 by the UNESCO World Network of Biosphere Reserve
